I am going to be getting a tattoo but i want a very specific writing style and if i can identify it i will be able to go ahead and buy a translation for what i would like and see if it works.
Here is the picture.
However i would like the proverb 'a gem is not polished wothout friction, nor a man perfected without trials' would that fit onto a vertical column with the same effect, obviously without giving me a free translation?
Many Thanks
Dan

- I would like this writing style, very squiggly and artistic with the same thickness really.

This is a Caoshu (chaos cursive) style. Here is a sample tattoo
template, scroll down to nearly the bottom and find the part titled
"Chaos Cursive Script / Caoshu / Sosho". There you will see all of the
Caoshu styles I can offer...

If you want to make it really unique, I can ask my cousin-in-law to
create something for you. He did this work:

Many thanks for your reply,
It does look very similar and imagine you could attempt to replicate that style or your cousin in an case. If i were to get the proverb 'A gem is not polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials' how much would that be? I would be interested in your cousin in law having a go.
Kind regards,
Daniel
